The 9th pumping station of Bayugan Water District, located in Barangay Sta. Irene was inaugurated last May 20, 2021. Fr. Robert Marquez administered the blessing of the pumping station, along with the presence of Brgy. Officials of Sta. Irene and Byg-WD board of directors.

Pumping Station No. 9 will be primary source of supply for Brgys. Sta. Irene and it will also supplement the deficiency of water supply in the neighboring barangays especially during peak hours.
